It’s important to breathe. Daaaah, no kidding. Kind of a life or death thing. But do you breathe correctly? It’s vitally important to breathe with long deep breaths all day to fill your body with energy that is given to us from our source.
You don’t have to do anything special to obtain it. Just breathe. Do
you notice that when you run a great distance, breathing heavily,
you spend a lot of energy yet you feel so alive afterward? The extra
air you filled your body with gives you the energy to run but also
fills you with more energy that makes you feel good after the run.
Anytime you breathe deeply for whatever reason you can feel this
extra heightened energy.
The air we inhale with every breath is loaded with energy.
Unfortunately, we are use to only breathing in shallow breaths
during our daily activities. These shallow breaths only supply us
with the minimum energy we need to survive. If you want more
energy, concentrate on breathing deeply with every breath you
take.
In meditation I inhale as deep a breath as I can which normally results in a big yawn. Hold for three seconds then exhale every ounce in your lungs. Continue doing this through the entire meditation counting down from 60 to one. By the time you finish, you will be filled with extra energy to take on the day. So even though you feel like you are wasting time, type A, you are actually building a better base to accomplish more.
